The Acting Troupe of Lambert is excited to present “Chicago” to the local community on March 8th – 10th!

“Chicago: A Musical Vaudeville” is based on the 1926 play about actual criminals and is a satire on corruption in the administration of criminal justice and the concept of the “celebrity criminal”. Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly find themselves on death row together and fight for fame that will keep them from the gallows. The musical “Chicago” razzle-dazzled past “Cats” to become the second longest running show ever on Broadway. It also won many awards including 6 Tony Awards, 9 Academy Awards, 2 Golden Globes and 1 Grammy featuring one powerhouse musical number after another!
